arrival at the airport
of Balikpapan

TREKKING ( B / L / D )
After the
breakfast you will start the trekking tour through the jungle to the fruit
plant ages which ensure the food of Orang Utans. You can watch them near the
lodge where also other animals could be seen like the Borneo
sun bear. This area is secured only for the Orang Utan Survival Foundation
which was founded in 1992. Today at Samboja Lodge live around 210 Orang Utans,
which are divided in 6 different areas around the lodge. (breakfast, lunch and
dinner incl.)
3. DAY:
SAMBOJA – BALIKPAPAN
After the
trekking-tour in the early morning to the feeding place of the Orang Utans you
will return to have your breakfast. Afterwards check-out and be transferred to
the airport of Balikpapan
