Day
01 : ARRIVAL IN BALIKPAPAN – LOA JANAN (L,D)
After your arrival at Sepinggan Airport of Balikpapan you’ll be met and
drive to Loa Janan about two hours by car. Here we will board on the houseboat
and start cruising Mahakam river to Dayak Land, overnight and meals on the
boat.
Day 02 : MUARA MUNTAI – MACONG –
TANJUNG ISUY - HOUSEBOAT (B,L,D)
Morning arrive at Muara Muntai village, join village excursion through
the long wooden bridge, then gen on motorized canoe to Tanjung Isuy crossing
Jempang lake and through OHONG RIVER to reach a big longhouse at Mancong have
known LAMIN MANCONG, you will see kind of birds and monkeys on OHONG River,
afternoon proceed to Tanjung Isuy Village the Dayak land of Benuaq. You will be
welcomed by Dayak performance of Benuaq. Afternoon return to houseboat, continue
the cruise to MUARA PAHU, overnight
onboard.
Day03 : MUARA PAHU –BELOWAN RIVER - DAYAK
VILLAGE TOUR ( B.L,D )
Morning arrive at MUARA PAHU village, after breakfast proceed the trip
by cis ( motorboat ) trough BELOWAN RIVER
, during the trip by motorboat you will see kind of animals, longnose monkey,
kind of birds and the exotic paronama along the trip. ( If you get lucky youl
will see fresh water dolphin on the river) . Arrive at DAYAK village you have
time to observ the Dayak village, return to houseboat for having lunch. Then
you will start the cruise down river to reach TENGGARONG. Overnight onboard
Day 04 : TENGGARONG – BALIKPAPAN – SANGATA
– HOTEL (B,L,D)
Morning arrive at Tenggarong where you will opportunity to join city
tour and visit Mulawarman Museum, where the former Kutai Kingdom inheritance
are displayed. After visit museum continue the trip by car to Sangata ( 250 km
) in 6 hours drive. Afternoon arrive at
Sangata city check in to Victoria Hotel, Dinner at restaurant or Hotel.
Day 05 : HOTEL – KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D )
After breakfast check out from Hotel then drive to KABO village by car
30 meniutes, then proceed by motor boat ( kelotok ) almost 30 minutes to reach
base camp of Kutai National Park.Check in to basecamp , then starting to the
jungle looking for the wild Orangutan. You can also observe the wild of Kutai
National Park, kind of trees and animals you sill find here. Lunch time return
to basecamp for take lunch ( duration trekking 2-3 hours ) , then at 03.00 pm
start again to enter the forest to look for the orangutans for another trek,.
Afternoon return to camp for having dinner ( duration trekking 2 hours ) .
After dinner you can also make the trip in the night to try to see the wild
animals, and kind of insects, after the trip return to basecamp for accommodation.
Day 6 : KUTAI
NATIONAL PARK – SANGATA – SAMARINDA – HOTEL ( B,.L,D )
After breakfast you will trekking again for another route, kind of birds
you will see in the forest. And also wild animals. Retunr to basecamp for
having lunch, then after lunch check out return by motorboat to KABO VILLAGE,
then continue the trip by car in approximetaly 5 hours drive. Check in to Bumi
Senyiur Hotel ( **** ) lunch, dinner incl.
Day 7 : HOTEL – BALIKPAPAN – AIRPORT ( B )
After breakfast in Hotel chek out for tranfering to the airport of
Balikpapan, 2 hours drive.
