.1 Day:
Arrival to Banjarmasin - transfer
to SWISSBEL BORNEO (***)
After
pick-up by your personal English speaking guide at the airport in Banjarmasin
transfer to hotel Swisbell Borneo hotel directly in MArtapura river side, free
at own leisure.
2. Day:
Floating market in Lokbaintan -
Cempaka village /
diamond mine - Martapura / gem
grindery - Cahaya Bumi Selamat /
shopping complex - Loksado – visit to Malaris Dayak Tribe –
Amandit river lodge ( b,l,d )
Early
in the morning you will be picked up from hotel, then start for a voyage on
Martapura river in a traditional motor boat „klotok“. The cruise starting in front of Hotel, Visit
to the floating market in Lokbaintan. Selling and shopping on the river is a
purely women’s work and women protect themselves from sunshine by large hats
called „tangguis“. Here you can take amazing photographs. Along the river you
can observe native people during their daily activities. Return to Hotel for
having breakfast, then chek out for continue the journey next approx. 40 km
southeast from Banjarmasin
to Cempaka village, where diamonds and gems have been found for centuries.
Visit to one of these traditional mines. In Martapura, famous in all South-East Asia for its diamond, gems and gold market,
visit of a gem grindery. In Martapura, visit to shopping complex Cahaya Bumi
Selamat, possibility to buy some gems. Then your trip continues next 125 km
(approx. 3 hours) north-east to province
of Hulu Sungai Selatan . Stop
in Kandangan, province central town for lunch. Around 16.30 you should reach to
small mountain town Loksado, located in the Meratus mountain region. Afernoon
check in to MERATUS

3. Day;
Loksado – Malaris Long hosue –
Negara Village – Loksado ( b,l,d )
After
breakfast in the hotel drive by car to Loksado approx. 20 minutes trekking to
Dayak Malaris tribe, passing by traditional hanging bridges. Here you will
visit a traditional “long house” and possible meet the local people, you can
see how the daily life for making handicraft, and others activities. Then
walking to Loksado village, to see directly the life of the people, then drive
to Negara village. Here tou can visit some places to see re-cycling home
industries which are many in Negara and that is why Negara is called KOTA DAUR
ULANG ( = the twon of re-cycling ), you can see the people do their job to
preduce various kind of goods made of unused materials. Afternoon return to
amandit river lodge for accommodation.
4.. Day:
Loksado - rafting on a bamboo
float on Amandit River - Banjarmasin – Palangkaraya ( b,l,d )
After
breakfast in the hotel start for a sensational voyage on Amandit River
on a traditional bamboo float! This is one of the highlights of this roundtrip!
Bamboo floats were traditionally built by Dayak tribes for travelling to the
market in the province town in order to sell their goods and then they
disassembled their floats and sold also the bamboo and walked back to their
village – a several days walk through the jungle. Your float will be made
especially for you and for this occasion. The voyage takes around 2 hours, is
absolutely safe and opens spectacular views in the tropical nature. These
floats are called “lanting” and are operated by experienced local pilots. After
this extraordinary experience, you can change your possible wet clothes before
a shorter drive brings you to Banjarmasin
(175 km) and further to Palangkaraya. At around 20.00 o’clock check-in in Aquarius
Hotel, in the town. (breakfast, lunch, dinner included)
5.Day
Palangka Raya – city
Tour - Bapalas Island- Panggu

Breakfast in Hotel then transfer out
for city tour in Palangkaraya for visit Museum Balanga, we can know
history about Dayaknese what they're do from pregnance ritual, married (3rd
process before done), and till pass away. Their philosophy about long house,
weapon and etc. traditional market, monument of Palangkaraya City, After lunch
Proceed to Tangkiling, 32 km from Palangka Raya then by boat ( kelotok ) about 2
hour goto Bapalas island, to see
orang utan, go to BOS – borneo orang utan survival.You can see in the Bapalas
island how orangutan adaptep to be wild life After that go to Baon Bango around 3 hour by
car (150km). From that going to Punggu Alas 1,5 hour by boat at
WWF camp. Dinner
and overnight at WWF camp.
6.Day:
Panggu Alas ( b/l/d
)
After breakfast. Early morning
going tracking to the jungle till day. If we’re lucky wee will see wild orang
utan. Walking in the forest need good condition coz swimpy forest, return to camp for having
lunch. In the evening by boat going to panggu alas to see kind of animals and watch
probosicmonkey. If we’re lucky we will see big snake, crocodile, eagle, return to camp for having dinner
and accomodation.
7.Day :
Panggu Alas
- Keruing – Jahanjang ( b/l/d)
After breakfast. Early morning
go to the jungle for trecking with
another route. During
your trecking you will see wild animalsl lunch in camp. Then by boat
going to Keruing village and Jahanjang village. Stay at guest house at Danau
Bulat. Kanoing around the lake. At evening joint with lokal people for trap
fish, netting fish. Take simple dinner.
8.Day :
Jahanjang –
Baon Bango – Palangka Raya (b/l/d)
After breakfast leave Jahanjang to Baon Bango by boat 1 hour then proceed by car to
Palangka Raya in
approximetaly 4 hours drive, having lunch in local restaruant to Kumkum
for lunch with view Kahayan River and small zoo. Aftern lunch check in to Hotel
for accommodation, dinner at local restaurant
9.Day :
Hotel – Airport ( b )
After breakfast in Hotel transfer out
